Asher’s POV

I didn’t mean to throw this in her face like this, but the way she was giving me the cold shoulder was getting to me in a way I didn’t like. I didn’t mean to do this to her on a hospital bed, but she had left me with no choice.

I wonder why she just wouldn’t take my care, instead of just shoving it back in my face like this.

“You can’t say you don’t know the money I am talking about, now, can you!” I said, even though I was sure that she had no idea. Last night, after May had walked me out of her room, I had gotten into my carb headed home.

As soon as I got home, Matias had told me that Will had called the house and asked for me. At first, I had just shaken my head and walked away, to my room, then I had remembered that I hadn’t seen him at the hospital, so I had decided to call him back.

When I finished my routine, working out, I had showered and then dialed his number.
