Chapter 56: Painful Memories

Rae’s POV

Jeong and I meet up with Gerald and explained what I was needing about making the soap. After a bit of a discussion it was decided to create a workshop right off the house with an added covered area outside. That way I can make the soap outside, but store everything including the curing soap inside, and lucky for me it wasn’t far from the back door. It’s a win win if you ask me.

After dinner I was eager to start working on building my new work space, but Jeong protested. He claimed I needed to rest and not over do it. So here I am, in my room lounging on my couch looking out the window at the stars. Try as I might I can’t seem to fall asleep. I feel so excited that my brain just wont calm down.

I hear a click.

“Why aren’t you sleeping?”

Turning to look I see Jeong leaning against the door frame that separates his room from mine.
