Izzy's days in the hospital became a blur of check-ups, physical therapy sessions, and moments of deep introspection. Each passing day brought both a sense of healing and an underlying dread of the unknown. The text message haunted her thoughts, and despite the comfort of her family's presence, she couldn't shake off the fear that her past was far from over.

The first morning after receiving the message, Izzy was startled awake by the sound of her heart monitor beeping rapidly. She sat up abruptly, clutching her chest, and took deep breaths to calm herself. The pain in her ribs reminded her to move slowly, so she settled back into her pillows, trying to focus on the present.

"Good morning, sunshine!" Ron's cheerful voice broke through her anxious thoughts as he entered the room carrying a tray of breakfast.

"Ron, you shouldn't have," Izzy said, managing a weak smile. "Hospital food is bad enough without you having to suffer through it too."
