chapter 20

"Ruth?" I ask but she doesn't reply all she does is smile at me extending her hands towards me.

"Talk to me please." I plead but still no answer. She smiled so brightly, suddenly her smile faded the once beautiful smile she had put on her face gone. That's when she started to walk away.

"Ru-"

"Miss Isabella." I hear my name being called but I try to focus on Ruth but she was gone.

"Miss Isabella are you there?!" that's when I fluttered my eyes open and I looked around and saw that I was in my room on the floor. I saw that it was bright outside. I then concluded in my head that it was Ruth in my dreams but God it felt so real.

"Miss Isabella?" I then stood up and went to the door and when I opened it was a face I had never seen before.

She didn't even wait for my invitation she just entered and went straight to my bed.

"Ma'am did you make your bed?" she asks a bit sceptical, and when I looked over it seemed as though no one had slept on it which is true.
