Back to the Thorn Jungle

Echo 's POV

As long as I got a strong will and heart, no more pity for anyone, I would have the chance to escape! I knocked Emily unconscious and crept up the steps of the dungeon, which seemed endless. Finally, around the corner, I saw some lights coming from the hall or some other rooms. That dim light had turn out to be my desire and yearning for life.

And I, the dove, was about to soar! No one was there! I breathed a sigh of relief. It was a long corridor that I had only seen in movies, and the wooden floor reflected the dim yellow light, making the world soft and fuzzy. I was like a little girl in countless dreams, looking around curiously. I had always been blindfolded and thrown into dungeons, so I had to rely on my body sense of direction while I was blindfolded to find my way out.
