Echo's POV

It was another dark night. Time seemed to pass so quickly when I was away from my family. My stomach began to growl again. Although I was, as they say, a tough and unyielding huntress, I could not avoid hunger and thirst, because it was the basic human need to feed myself and quench my thirst with water.

Water...... I need water...

But Emily hadn't been seen since she brought me the meal last time. I was a little irritated by the extreme thirst. After a whole day in the sun, the dungeon was like an iron pan on a fire, bubbling with heat that made me weaker and weaker. I was about to get dehydrated. Moments of despair were eating my conscience like a zombie met a fresh brain. In general, at a moment like this, I should be thinking about someone who had given me hope again. But I thought of Leonardo, the proud Vampire Duke. He hated me so much and probably wanted to kill me himself if I were not for possibly keeping the truth of how Jenna really died.
