Trinity

It was odd for us to be meeting in the daytime, but I didn’t question it. I wanted to see him, and depending on how long we’d meet up, I might have some time to act on my plan to thank him. He asked for us to meet in the middle of the city, but he didn’t send a car to pick me up.

That was a little weird, but I wasn’t going to complain. I took the bus there and searched for him once I arrived in the area. I walked towards the square he said we would meet in, but I didn’t see him. Then, my phone rang.

“Behind you,” Lucian said.

I turned around and saw him standing near store’s awning, covered from head to toe and carrying an umbrella. He wasn’t wearing all black, but he was wearing a dark suit and hat. He reminded me of an old vampire movie. I looked around wondering if someone else thought it was strange, but no one even seemed to notice him. He looked out of place, but it was normal. Vampires feared sunlight, didn’t they?

I hung up and headed towards him, looking up at him
