Chapter Nineteen

I looked at Chris and however did not miss the apologetic expression he had when he looked at his father and there was also a longing expression in those eyes.

"Amelia its fine, its better I leave." Chris said and reluctantly released himself of his mother who was trying to hold him tightly so he does not leave.

I don't know why but I could not help but feel a small connection with him nearly like the one I had with Caspian.

"I will not let you leave Chris!" I projected that into his mind causing him to look at me with a surprised expression.

"Mr Demetrius, I don't care what Chris did. You need him as he knows how to kill Lenoras and we need him to train us how to do so. I know that because he killed a Lenora that tried to attack me without difficulty. So its either he stays or we both leave together!"

I could now see the Vampire King having an internal debate with himself.

"Fine he can stay but needs to stay away from Caspian and some
