Chapter 54 - Rage

Daniel's P.O.V

"Eleanor has to die." My words left her speechless as she gaped at me, stunned.

I walked closer to her, trying to hold her in my arms and explain why had to be done and why it was necessary to protect her and Danielle. But, instead of coming into my arms like Eleanor usually would, she backed away from me as her eyes did an instant flip going ice cold.

"You are an excellent strategist, aren't you? Rumors really don't lie. Selfish and smart. Both qualities are embedded perfectly in you."
