Chapter 58 - Henry's Mate

Daniel's P.O.V

"Mate?" Henry's pale voice pierced my ears as my steps towards Eleanor came to a halt and our widened gazes gazed into each other's, completely baffled.

I spun around to glance at Hailey who was lying on the ground, twisting and turning in pain and Henry whose time had been frozen completely as his hands were shaking.

As for the rest of us?

We were just as shocked. How did Hailey end up becoming Henry's mate?

"Henry?" I called out as I walked in the direction of my shocked brother. As soon as I placed my hand on his shoulder, he was brought out of his trance as he shook his head and stared at Hailey in disbelief.

"Impossible." Henry muttered staring into the distance as he shook his head in denial.

"Henry, listen to me." I tried gaining his attention but he was too lost as his mind was in denial of the situation before his eyes.
