Daniel's P.O.V

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Henry's voice rang through and through in my ears. As I stared at him astonished and somewhat irritated by his scream.

"Nothing, dammit. Just let it go, won't you?" I tried to calm him down, but he was heated up and aggravated.

"You can't just say something like that and expect me to let it go, Daniel! What's the matter with you?" He yelled, his face turning red with anger.

"I'm sorry, okay? I just didn't mean to offend you. And, I didn't even say anything about you for you to react like that. And, moreover it was a slip of the tongue," I replied, trying to sound as apologetic as possible.

"Well, you should be careful with your words then. You can't just blabber anything and think it won't affect others. How can you say you regret being born a vampire? Did it even for a microsecond cross your mind how would aunt feel if she heard it?" he asked, his tone lowering down a bit.
