Karien's Pov
The room was occupied with thousands of bottles of human blood which was preserved in the cool temperature. Unfortunately, the responsibility of those thousands of bottles of blood was given to me.
This was the reason why I would never let anyone stay longer in my cabin. It was okay with humans but Vampires would smell it right away so I had to keep my distance from them and had assigned them to the first and second floors.
Away from my cabin. And when it comes to Debra, if she hadn't lost her powers to scent, she would have caught me immediately.
I should be extra careful as she had her powers back. But how? I can't let her stay away from my sight, knowing that my father can attack her anytime and anywhere.

Do you want soup too?” she asked me packing up with her cleaning job and drawing her attention to me. I smiled and looked at her with a happy face, “You are my mind reader Teresa. I was craving soup too.” I hugged as I said and sat down on the chair waiting for my noodles and soup, my hands wrapped against each other and the mouse inside my stomach. “What about chicken soup, Debra?” Teresa asked again and my hearing sensation getting active as she mentioned chicken “I would love chicken. Go for it, mama.” I replied both of us chuckled with my sentence. She went busy making noodles for me and I stand to help her in cleaning which she left incomplete after I enter the kitchen.
