Chapter Fifty Eight

After recovering from his shock, Alexander once again registered the smell of a decaying body. He pushed himself up from the ground with help of the wall, but as he suddenly stood up, he felt light-headed and disoriented with his surroundings for a moment. Alexander shook his head to stabilize himself and made a note to practice controlling his new powers until they're like second nature.

He headed back the way he came until he reached the main hall again and entered the kitchen, planning to make some food to leave for his Noah in case he woke up from his fever while he was out. As he opened the fridge, he realized he had to go shopping. Also, he had to buy grave supplies for the body.

He went through the entire fridge, which was almost empty, finding only a few ingredients. He had little option about what to cook. In the end, he settled on a Cresent Ring made of bacon, eggs, cheese, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, artichokes, and asparagus
