"So you're saying he did all that?" Max gasped.

"Yes, why would I lie about that?" I giggled.

"Girl, I think he's falling for you." Max laughed giving me a friendly tap on my arms.

"You're right, Jada's plan might be working." I smiled.

"Keep this up and this would no longer be a marriage of convenience." Max smiled too.

We talked about other stuffs including the barista that max was dating now. Turns out, max was simply trying to make Jason jealous that was why he mentioned that his new boyfriend Ethan was coming because according to max 'a man can tell when another man is jealous.'

I felt good about the situation anyways because it was good to recognized and all. I've never seen a guy get jealous because of me because I didn't really have much time so I mostly saw any guy I was seeing late in the night most of which none of them appreciated. Not that they were serious about me anyways, they were mostly struggling like I was but the attraction was there.
