The priest sprinkled the holy water on Sir Fergus’s body while he chanted the hymns. Many people had gathered at the graveyard to give their respects to the man one last time. Even Raelynn and Laurier were present as they mourned the death of their trusted one.

‘I am sorry, dear friend.’ Eldrick’s eyes teared up seeing the man now lying in a coffin. His body had been cleaned thoroughly and he was clad in fresh clothes. The man’s body had lost its color and seeing him laying this way, made Eldrick to lose control. ‘I couldn’t protect you well and you had to bear the consequences of someone’s desires and cunning plot.
