Caleb was already in deep pain, wondering what the hell was happening and why his being kept feeling like it was being spilt in twos. The pain started small, reached a crescendo and then return back to the small state all to begin again. He was not only tired of the pain but he was ready for it to end. He had even started to beg unseen entities that he wasn’t really the one who did the rejection and that it should not be possible for an acceptance to a rejection which he didn’t issue out.

And even through the pain, thoughts came to his head, when his mate, Hannah had died, the pain he felt was self-induced, he went into isolation and was nearly feral and through that dark phrase, he still had control of himself and he could pull himself back from the brink of insanity. There was nothing self-induced about what he was feeling.
