“Yunno, it’s almost time for Gabriel to come home with his mate. Why don’t you make your move now?” Gordon said to Amanda one day on their way back from school.

Gabriel had stayed back for the training for all prospective alphas like he always did.

Gordon hoped that Amanda would get tired of showing Gabriel all the signs that he coldly ignored..

I don’t think that’s a good idea. I don’t want to be rejected; I don’t think he likes me. He likes Minx, it’s quite obvious.” Amanda sulked. Minx was a year behind them. Amanda wondered what Minx had that attracts Gabriel so much to her.

“No, you’re getting it all mixed up. Gabriel doesn’t have feelings for Minx, if he does, I’d be the first to know.” Gordon assured her.

Gordon’s heart ached as he tried to console Amanda, he tried so hard to be neutral. She didn’t look his way or notice the affection he showered on her. Instead of Gabriel who she so foolishly clung to, Gordon was always there for her, during her highs and lows.
