Don't move ...

After dinner, Eva went back to her room but she couldn't stop thinking about the guy she saw earlier...could it be Kyle?... besides it was really strange that this place was called "Chen's residence"... Maybe it's all just a coincidence.

Eva slept with Kyle in her mind.

That same night

Kyle was in his study when he made a call.

"Luca, why is the little woman here?"

"Sir, from what Zaheer told me, she is here because a friend of her mother offered her a job here in city F and now she's staying here for a while I guess" the voice on the other end said.

Kyle sighed as he heard what the person said before ending the call. Maybe it is a good thing the little woman is here, they might actually get to know each other this time. Kyle thought.

He walked straight to his room and slept.

The next morning, Eva woke up to see Mrs Trent's maid opening the curtains of the room.

"Good morning ma'am" Eva greeted since the woman looked pretty stricken in age.

The woman turned around and smiled at Eva

"Ohh...you are awake." The woman said...

This woman's voice was soothing and warm. It reminded Eva of her mother and she smiled bitterly..

"How was your night" The woman asked.

"It was good I guess" Eva said as she smiled remembering the fact that she actually dreamt about Kyle last night.

The woman smiled back at her as She was about to leave the room but Eva called out to her

"Uhmm... Ma'am, I hope Mrs Trent isn't angry that I woke up late" Eva said innocently

"Please don't call me ma'am, call me Debby. Besides Mrs Trent has already gone to work...just come down for breakfast then I'll tell you what to do next okay!" The maid said before leaving the room.

Eva sighed and went straight to the bathroom and took her bath. She rushed down to the dining room and saw the nice plate of food waiting for her.

Eva's stomach growled loudly as she surveyed the food waiting for her. Debby laughed when she heard Eva's stomach growl.

"Here you go" Debby said as she placed in front of Eva Ramen noodles. This has been Eva's favorite ever since her and her family relocated to City A.

"Thank you" Eva said as Debby walked away...

But Debby gave a U-turn as she remembered something.

"Eva, Mrs Trent asked me to give you this" Debby said handing a credit card to Eva.

"Why" Eva asked surprised

"According to her words, go out and spoil yourself. And also, she said you shouldn't return this. That it's all yours" Debby said before leaving.

Eva really didn't want to start spending Mrs Trent's money but since she was told not to return it, the money can't stay there and not be used right?.

Eva finished eating the Ramen noodles, then went further to eating the plate of chicken noodle soup and then the rice cake.

After eating, Eva felt like an overinflated ball. She stared at the card in her hand then called out for Debby.

Debby came rushing when she heard Eva calling, "Do you need something?"

"Not really, I just wanted to tell you, I'm going out" Eva said

"Oh ohk..no problem." Debby said and Eva thanked her before dashing out of the house.

Outside the house, Eva jumped happily as she walked down the street. She really wished she could send her parents some money right now but she couldn't. Eva saw a cotton candy stall at the other side of the road and wanted to get some cotton candy for herself...she was crossing the road then...

"Bbbbamm..."

After that sound, there was silence as the driver who just hit someone came rushing out of the car to check on the person he just hit.

Eva was laid flat on the ground and her knee and head was bleeding profusely. She was already unconscious as the driver carried her into the car.

Seconds ago,

The man who was sitting at the back seat with a mask on his face woke up the moment he heard the sound of the car screeching into a halt. His driver was puzzled with his hand shaking on the wheel.

"Did you hit someone?" Kyle's cold voice asked..

"Sir, I didn't mean to. She's the one who ran into the road without looking" the scared voice of the driver said.

"She?" Kyle thought...

"Check on the person" Kyle ordered...

Few seconds later, his driver came with a lady in his arms....wait...isn't this little miss ladybug? Kyle's eyes darkened as he saw Eva bleeding from her head and knee. She was involved in an accident yesterday, now today too.

He stared at her unmoving body as they drove to the hospital.

Why isn't it someone else? Why does it have to be this little woman?...

They arrived at the hospital and Kyle's driver attempted to carry Eva in the hospital but Kyle had already swept the girl in his arms as he came down from the car and entered the hospital.

When she nurses saw Eva's state, and treated her wound but one of them said to Kyle.

"Sir, you will have to wait. You can't see the doctor now..he's attending to others"

"Can't you see she's in need of a doctor right now. Why wait?" Kyle said in a dark scary tone.

The nurse was shaken but stood her ground.

Kyle's driver who was standing beside him, removed the mask from Kyle's face and the nurse's jaw dropped as she looked apologetic. It was Kyle Chen all these while?

"Ohh...I'm so sorry sir...I'll inform the doctor to come right away" the nurse said running into the doctor's office.

Soon, The doctor attended to Eva

"Uhmm...Mister Kyle, though she has stopped bleeding, she has already lost alot of blood and we need to do a blood transfusion"

"What's her blood type?" Kyle asked the doctor.

"From the test earlier, she's O-positive" the doctor said

Kyle stared at Eva who was still unconscious

"I'll donate some of my blood to her".

"Mister Kyle are you O-positive?" The doctor asked

Kyle stared at the doctor with a straight face and the doctor understood and didn't waste time in preparing for the transfusion.

The blood transfusion was successful and Kyle was exhausted. He sat beside Eva's bed as she slowly opened her eyes. He never expected that one day he will go all out for someone like this. He smirked as he removed the little hairs from Eva's face.

"Where am I ?" Eva asked in a low tone

"In the hospital" Kyle said slowly rubbing her hair.

" What?!!" Eva said I she quickly tried to stand up from the bed but Kyle held her down

"Don't move. You got yourself in an accident." He said

"How?!" She asked

"You really don't remember...huh...you got yourself in an accident trying to cross the road to get me a special flavor of something" he said

"Flavor of what?" She asked

"You really want to know?" Kyle asked with a playful smirk on his face

Eva nodded slowly. This girl was looking even more seductive lying there. Kyle felt his abdomen tighten looking at her. Her silky smooth blue hair was scattered all over the bed and she looked simply angelic but sexy.

Kyle bent down and whispered in her ear

"A special flavor of condo..."

Eva bit her lip as she used her hand to stop him from completing his sentence.

"Why are you lying Kyle. I'll never do that" Eva said

Kyle stared at her plum pink lips she just bit.

"Do you want evidence?" He asked as he looked down and Eva understood what he meant.

"I don't need any evidence!" She said and Kyle chuckled.

He remembered the sound of his name from her mouth and felt a surge of warmth in his heart. He didn't know why but he suddenly felt the need to protect this girl and keep her by his side.

"Go to bed" Kyle said

"I'm a little bit hungry" Eva said blushing hard

Kyle took his phone and sent a text. In a few minutes, a nurse walked in with a tray of food and placed it on the table before leaving.

Kyle helped Eva to sit up.

"Thank you" Eva said and Kyle only smiled at her

Eva was about to get the food herself but Kyle did so before her

"Let me" he said and Eva turned red immediately.

Kyle feed her slowly until she finished the entire plate of food.

"Now, go to sleep" He said and Eva laid down and fell asleep in a few minutes later.
