“Honey, I am home!” His voice echos around the large house, making it seem like he had just made a declaration that he was home multiple times instead of once. Natalia sighs, before she wears a pleasant smile on her lips. “I know that what I did was wrong, honey. Please open up.” Natalia says as she stands outside the door of the guest room that her husband had slept in last night.“Would you please stop being mad at me? "I actually love how much he dotes on you, it is the most adorable thing ever!" Wendy Cross, Natalia’s best friend of over ten years squeals like a little girl as she and Natalia are about to step into the house. Chapter Four.“And so she said that she wanted to go and stay with my mother, and you know I would just do ANYTHING for my baby girl. I don’t see why she is so attached to mother, I mean, I’m my mother’s daughter and I’m not even attached to her in anyway. Delilah on the other hand is. Way too much.” Wendy’s voice rang on and on in the background as she fingered some accessories in the large shopping building.“Oh really, so what happened next?” Natalia sounds like she has heard one too many of Wendy’s stories. Chapter Five.“I’m home, honey!” Noah’s voice rings out into and around the walls of the large house. “And I can smell something good too! Is it my lucky day, my queen?” Noah asks as he gives a smiling Natalia a big kiss on her left cheek.“How did your day go honey? You’re early today too.” Natalia asks as she tends to the cooking, doing her best to pay attention to Noah and to the food over the fire.“Oh and sorry about the food. I really did not think that you would be back so early. But it would be done soon.” Natalia says with a smile.Noah laughs and kisses his wife on her cheek again.“It is alright, my little queen. I got here before I was supposed to, and once again, a happy anniversary to you!” He exclaims and Natalia turns to look at him, her face brightening up into a cheerful smile.“And once again, thank you, honey. Chapter Six.“You should take a bath first though. Freshen up.” Natalia says as she adjusts the blinds, covering them up even more as too much sunlight came in through the windows.“I will soon. I just have to say— to say that today was a great day.” Noah sighs as he takes some more of the clear liquid he had been served by Natalia earlier.“Yes, my love. You always have a great day, don’t you?” Natalia shakes her head and smiles as she takes a seat on the couch adjacent to the one Noah sat on, crossing and uncrossing her legs.“Yes, but today was really wonderful. I just don’t know why. I mean today was a really stressful day for me, clients old and new on my neck and all. Chapter Seven.Natalia looks up in awe of the decor and the contrasting colours used at the venue, surprised by the fact that even contrasting colours when brought together can create something so stunning. The entire decoration alone, makes her glad that she was able to be there. Noah had only told her about the party after he had got out from bed, and at that time, it was already eight in the morning. The party began at nine and she had to finish up with chores and look for something— decent to wear if she was to go.Noah’s excuse was that he had only been told about it the day before and that he had forgotten soon after.
