“I have an idea of what to do with the bodies,” Evanore said and reached for Saraya’s hand. The two exchanged a glance. “Follow my lead,” she added. Saraya nodded. We all stood back and watched as the two walked away to stand in a small clearing at the center of the bodies with Saraya bodily supporting Evanore.Evanore started to mutter in an old tongue and Saraya joined in. A portal opened up in the sky and by the look of it, it was different from the cloudy one of this realm. This one was dark and the clouds were shimmering with a million stars. The bodies started to disintegrate into sparkles of light; like fireflies and fluttered through the open veil and up into the dark sky. Soon enough, the ground that was littered with bodies, was now only marred with blood. The dark sky was illuminated even more with shimmery stars. Saraya gasped in awe and gave her sister a happy smile. “Now they have gone home and would be light for the Westlands,” Evanore said. "It is so beautiful. Thank
He marched the rest of the way to the cell, pulled apart the iron rods barring the entrance, and strode in. I watched him hesitate before reaching out to lift the girl. A low growl emitted from him – a mixture of anguish and anger, as he removed the neck contraption and crushed it in his fist. He then held the dark-haired girl to his chest for about a minute, inhaling her scent before marching out of the cell and back to us. "Babe, shift and carry her through," I said to Saraya. She nodded, throwing Raedwulf Lykaon a reassuring look. He handed her over to Saraya after she took on her Lycan form. She threw me a glance and held my gaze before rushing away. "She is a Lycan too?" Hauser said in awe. "She is mine," I said. He swallowed. Raedwulf Lykaon suddenly reached out to grab Hauser by the neck. Kahn croaked in fear, “Hey, leave him alone!’ "You will show me who is responsible for this enslavement. Now!" he snarled, baring his dangerously sharp teeth. "Let him go, Raedwulf
Just like we did in the wild region, Saraya and Evanore created several portals to get all the captives back to their villages, but before we did, I made Saraya wipe out the memories of the human females before leaving them all at their doorsteps. Hauser and Kahn wanted to stay back with us but I told them they needed to go back home. We let them through to their village after scouting the area and found it relatively peaceful. The village was unnervingly deserted, and I wondered if there were even any Lycans left behind during the raid. The streets reeked of death and a few of the houses were burnt. About three thousand Lycans walked through the tunnel to Hauser and Kahn’s village alone. I let out a sigh, wondering how they would rebuild their lives. “I will have my men get some aids here, you just need to give me a few minutes,” I said to Hauser and Kahn. They both lowered to the ground on one knee and bowed to me. The rest of the rescued Lycans joined in. “Thank you, Alpha,”
Needing to set a scene for James and his wife to wake up to, we had to get them both back to their apartment. A cozy house about a kilometer from the main building. We discovered they both moved about with a small car that looked like a golf cart with bigger tyres. Evanore and I drove the small car, while Anastasios Martas walked by the side, matching our speed. There was no way he could fit into the cart but that didn't stop me from feeling guilty especially since he had to carry Mrs. Brown too. The car was too small and could only carry two passengers. He didn't seem to mind though. I suspect he was just content to be anywhere around Evanore. I smiled to myself when Evanore reached out to touch him, smoothing out her palm down his side. I heard the guardian let out a low sound that sounded something between a purr and a grunt. I was so glad Evanore had someone like him to look out for her. She was getting stronger by the minute and I knew it was all thanks to Anastasios
As soon as we got back to the house, Anastasios Martas ushered Evanore away, insisting she needed to rest. I noted the entire place looked normal, the front door was back in place and I assumed the hole in my kitchen wall would have disappeared too. I suppose there was an advantage to having two immortal witches under my roof. The foyer was empty now and I couldn't perceive the guardians downstairs. Thinking they had all taken my advice on taking a break, I placed an open palm on Saraya's back and shepherded her up the stairs. She clung to my side, pressing her face to my skin. We both shared a bath and took turns helping to wash each other's hair. Kneeling in front of her, I framed her hips and shut my eyes as she poured shampoo into my hair and worked up a lather. I tried to not think of my position and her full luscious breast pointed at my face. After a while, I gave in and first nuzzled the pinkish, beaded peaks with my nose, listening to her breath catch with pleasure.
Leaving Saraya to rest in the room, I went downstairs to see if the guardians were ready for us to head back to our realm. The foyer was still empty but when I peered into the kitchen I saw that Raedwulf Lykaon was there with his mate. She was sitting on the work table while he stood in front of her, feeding her something from a plate with one hand while his other hand held her wrists to her naked lap. She had changed her clothes to another of the many clothes I bought for Saraya – a simple sundress I figured she could wear in the house. It was a bit lose on the girl and considering she was just rescued that was understandable. Her hair was tangled free now and framed her small cute face. I figured she couldn’t be more than twenty years of human age. "I can feed myself you know," she said and her voice carried a little annoyance but I could perceive that the animosity between the two a few hours ago was no more. Raedwulf Lykaon's scent was now mingled with hers, which meant he ha
"It is time," Dane said into my ear. I opened my eyes, peering into his beautiful eyes. He smiled. "I'm sorry, I promise I will let you sleep after this." I reached up to frame his face, searching his intense eyes, and then kissed him. He took over instantly, running his fingers through my hair, and devouring me. When he groaned, I giggled. "Rain check?" I said. He nodded and kissed me thoroughly before lifting me off the bed. "Should I go and get Evanore and Anastasios Martas?" I asked as he ushered me down the corridor. "Everyone is downstairs, love," he replied. The guardians were all standing about in the foyer when we climbed down the stairs. Evanore, as expected, was standing with Anastasios Martas in a corner of the room. Raedwulf Lykaon was with his mate and a lovely pair of green eyes, met mine with ardent curiosity, I smiled at her. She gave me an awkward one. "Hi. I'm Saraya…" I said as I walked to meet the two after giving Evanore a hug and giving Anastasios M
We portal back to the house but this time, Saraya took us to the woods just a few meters from the house. She looked back immediately after we got through and I did as well, noting she was ensuring Raedwulf Lykaon and his human passed through the portal just fine. The guardian engulfed her in his arms, and she clung to him like a child. I watched her body shake and he gently rubbed her back, murmuring soothingly to her. When he saw us looking at them, he raised a thumb in reassurance. Saraya nodded and kept walking. "I have heard tales about the Central Northlands but never been here. It is true it is an endless winter night with the stars shining the brightest," she said as if to herself. "I think it is beautiful," Evanore said. "But to live endlessly with no ray of the sun… not feeling the heat on the skin…" "A perfect place for the creatures of the night…" a guardian said. "Indeed," Evanore replied. "Do you ever get tired of it, Commander?" one guardian asked. "Central
