I came out of the room with him because I didn't want the others to know exactly what we were about to talk about.

“What is it?”

“Now that you've seen them, why don't you decide. The alpha would like to know what your decision is, so we could finally plan about where to keep them.”

I raised a brow at my father's beta, who seemed to be all reasonable and mature now.

“You talk like you are so sure that they are going to stay. How about I tell you that we would be leaving soon?”

“Well, I don't really know about you, but the others don't seem like they want to leave seven if you'd like to.”

“I'll decide whether they'll stay or not. Their safety is in my hands, and I wouldn't want them to suffer any injustices.”
