Femi took some time to think before replying "I think you're right. But we'll have to see."

"Yeah." I said. Femi proceeded to wrap his hand around me. I did as well. We were savoring each other.

"I missed you." I said.

"Me too," he said back.

The door opened after some time and we looked up to see who it was.

It was the doctor.

I became scared as my heart started beating really fast. I hoped genuinely that he had good news for me. I was scared he would tell me that my time would soon be up.

I didn't want Femi's efforts to go to waste. He would be devastated because he literally stuck his neck out for me.

"Good evening sir and ma, I have the results of the test we did earlier."

The doctor came in and I got pissed because first, he interrupted my cuddle time with my baby, then what is he other than the harbinger of unfortunate news. I didn't need this right now.
