"Well we got scars now. I'm still figuring out how to live with them. Hiding them is one thing I cannot ever do though." He said.

I subconsciously found myself touching my own scars.

"Yeah, me too. I've decided not to hide them anymore. They are a symbol of strength and the shit that I had to overcome." I said, tears filling my vision.

I saw Femi looking at me with admiration in his eyes. He smiled when he caught my eye. "That's good. You guys sha have to get going so that mummy will not call you Femi. If she does, you sef you know what will happen."

"Yeah I know and I don't have strength for her scolding so let's go baby." Femi said.

"Alright its good to see you Kola." I said and Femi and I headed out ready to see his parents.

We got to my parents' door and I sighed. Ama was still nervous. I could feel it. I understood her. Even though there was nothing to be nervous about, I still understood her. Nollywood and romance movies didn't make this any easier.
