Chapter Eighty One; Don’t Do It Didi

I still didn't want Ama with my brother but I didn't want her to die as well. Losing her would break Femi to shreds and I didn't think he could come back from that. This kind of attachment was the reasoning behind my wanting Ama far away from our lives. All I could think of right now though, was Femi's well being, so yes we could compromise for now.

I went over to where Kola and Tunde were waiting after talking to Radike. I knew they stayed away because Kola didn't want to be close to Radike.

"Okay so what's the news now" Tunde asked and Kola listened intently.

"Um she's still stable but doesn't have long before she Uh..." I trailed off. I couldn't bring myself to say it yet again.

"How long?" Kola chimed in.

"Five weeks." I said. It was gut wrenching to even think about.
