Charlotte pov

Despite wearing heels my mother was still short . Her heels clicked loudly as she entered the kitchen . Immediately she sensed my presence. She stops and sniffs the air around . Her bright blue eyes land on me as she searches for my presence.

She opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out .I can tell that she is in utter shock. She stands there in shock with her mouth open. I don't thinks she expected to find me like this . She composes her self quickly and comes closer to me with tentative steps . When she comes close to me. I realize that her scent is stronger and sweet . Her presence is more calming and the aura around her is strong and comforting at the same time . Being a wolf helps you see things clearly I guess.

"Baby , "her voice breaks once she spots me, "you are -"

"She is a wolf now , "Harper completes the sentence that's if she wants to say in the first place.
