Chapter Seventeen

"Mum, I have to go now". She hurried out. She was late for school. She was not able to sleep last night.

"Daughter, wait", her mum said and she stopped in front of the door. "Are you going to leave without taking your breakfast?"

"Yes, mum". I am not hungry. Whenever I am hungry I will get some snacks at the campus.

"Okay dear", that reminds me, are you going to Leo's house today?

Her question made her worried she didn't want to think about it." Yes, Mum, I will but it will be at night". She turned around and looked at her. I will be back earlier.

She frowned. "l hope he will not hurt you".

"No, Mum", he will not. Her concern made her smile." Don't worry Mom, I will be fine".

She approaches her. "How are you sure?" Have you known him for a while?

She was worried that no one could eliminate it."Yes", I know him. She wanted to tell her it was Isabella's ex-husband but she kept quiet. She will tell her at the appropriate time.

"Mum you have to believe me". She kissed her forehead.
