Emily POV

The rain was pouring heavily, as I slowly made my way towards a black iron gate, everything that happened back at Ethan's office continued to reverberate in my head. I should have known all along that Ethan wasn't in love with me. I acted like a fool, trusting him blindly. This was the greatest mistake of my life.

Tears continued streaming down my eyes. As I staggered towards the entrance of the house at this moment my strength was gone I stood in front of a black door and knocked lightly.
