Feeling defeated, mad, and weak, I turned to look at the teacher, “I'm sorry lad, there is nothing I can do, Paul’s parents are rich, they are part of the PTA board and their unanimous yearly donation goes a long way in running this institution of learning”.

“Penalizing his son will automatically mean bye-bye to his father's huge donations to the school and we can't afford to lose it,” she said, adjusting her buttock back to her sit, placed her hands on the table, she took a pen from a couple of pens from the pen holder and scribble something down on a piece of paper

“ Take it,” she said, “give it to the school nurse in the sick bay, while at it don't dare open” She handed the white sheet of paper down to me “You will be fine,” She said.

Walking the narrow corridor leading to the sick bay, I was tempted to open and see the content of the pieces of paper he scribbled on.
