A single movement of his finger and then still. He could hear someone talking but their voices were muffled. He couldn’t make words out of what was falling on his eardrums. He could feel the blood rushing to his limbs as he started feeling tingles in them. He was gaining back his strength and slowly his breaths started to become normal. It took every bit of strength in his body to open his eyes.

He could see two figures hovering over him and staring at him but his vision was blurry to make out their face. He took his time, closed his eyes again. He took a deep breath, clenching and unclenching his fist before opening his eyes again.

The figures above him were slowly becoming clear as they tried to talk to him. Slowly both their voices and their faces started to become clear. He tried to sit up and both of them helped him. His head spiralled for a second as he was sitting but then it soon went away. This time when he looked at the figure, their faces were clear.
