Eavesdropping

Dale and Mason approached Drake, in the throne room. He is standing a step behind Nyra and is glaring at anyone who dares to come closer to her.

He hates these annoying nosy Fae. He can hear them whispering nonsense for the past 3 hours.

'He is so handsome. I saw when he removed his mask when he was invited to eat on the royal table. He seems to be some one important' a woman was saying to a group of newly arrived fae woman.

Now they all are looking at him as if he is a piece of meat, which is ready to be served.

That's why Drake hated woman. They all act as a flock of annoying birds, who keep chirping and making annoying noises.

Nyra is different though. She never went out of her way to please him. Infact, she is the first woman who was annoyed by his presence.

She managed to capture his attention and then his heart. He is glad she turned out to be his mate.

"If you glare at them any harder, then I am sure you might burn them" Mason said fr
