Drake found Nyra's handmaiden standing outside the door with Nyra's dinner. He was about to go , but then, he remembered that mornings incident.
'Some one tried to poison Nyra. It's better to taste everything first before taking to her' with that thought in mind, he opened the dome that's covering the steaming food and proceeded to taste everything.
No one said anything in protest. They all believe in Drake and they know he has her best interest in mind.
After taking a bite from every single item, Drake even sipped the water.
