Home alone

It's almost past the office hours, but still, there is no message from Drake. Nyra turned off her computer and decided to go and check on Drake. He told her he had meetings lined up till evening. 

'Is he not finished yet?' She thought and made the short distance towards his office.

After 'Roland' left, which he insisted Nyra to call him as, Nyra finished her work. She didn't hear from Mason after their lunch either.

Roland was easy to get along with, and his sense of humor is off the charts. He is not at all scary as she previously expected. She enjoyed his company immensely.

When she reached Drake's office in just a couple of minutes, she noticed Steve typing something off in his keyboard.

"Hey Steve" Nyra greeted the vampire.

Steve is busy with all the work which was carried over from the previous day. He didn't notice Miss Adams. When she greeted him, he looked up and smiled at the beautiful human, whom his boss likes.
