Everyone keeps addressing him as 'your highness' and It's getting on Drake's nerves. Just before leaving the dungeons, Drake nodded to Mason to follow him.
Mason followed behind Drake. He can guess what his friend wanted to talk to him about. After all, this is not what they came here for. But the situation is getting out of control faster than they can handle it.
When they stepped out of the Dungeon and into the empty courtyard, Drake stopped walking and turned to face Mason.
"I know this is not what you signed up for Mason. We are getting deeper than we are ready for. If you feel uncomfortable, then you can leave and go back home" Drake offered his good friend.
Mason chuckled.
"Ya man. This is not what we signed up for. I know. But I don't have anyone else for myself. I only have you and your father as my family. I can't and won't leave you, man. We came together, and we will go back together" Mason said determinedly.
