Caesar thought he could understand how Lola felt after being shot and bleeding. The massive blood loss made him feel extremely dizzy, and the fingers covering his left chest couldn't stop the blood from gushing out.

The bullet hadn't hit his heart. It had skillfully avoided the vital organ, piercing his body but not causing a fatal wound.

He watched as Lola stood up without hesitation and left, the alarm bells ringing loudly in his ears, and guards rushing towards them. She walked away quickly, never looking back, tightly gripping the gun the entire time.

The pain in his left chest felt like it was being scorched by a blazing fire. Caesar sat down, briefly alleviating the intense pain and discomfort caused by the bleeding.

He breathed slowly, the taste of blood gradually surfacing. It seemed that the remnants of the jasmine scent still lingered in his palm, but the sensation was weak and rapidly disappearing.

The guards arrived.
