Chapter Fifty

Keeva’s POV

‘Nikita, are you ok?’ Unease has settled inside me. I haven’t heard from her since the early hours of the morning and even Selina is becoming concerned. I know my mindlink reaches further than standard pack member as I was able to call to Nikita from the Vampire’s lair. Channon snores quietly in his sleep and his breath wafts the hair near my ears and it tickles me. His big, muscley arm is draped across my body and it grows heavy on me now. Slowly I lift his arm up enough to slip from it’s confines and take a deep breath in at last. I take a moment to gaze, unwatched, upon the face of my fated mate.
