Chapter Fourty-Four

Zev’s POV

Pain radiates the entire way through my body. Every bone feels broken and every piece of my flesh is ripped or torn apart and the cold ground is sticky from my blood. I’m too hurt and tired to shift into my wolf. Instead I have to lay here and heal slowly until I am strong enough to shift and finish healing faster. My head buzzes from the times its crashed into the hard, stone stairs on the descent into the abyss. Huge ear-splitting crunching noises make me wince as my skull pops back out from its current concaved form. I grit my teeth together in absolute agony as my eye is sucked back into its socket by the thick vessels and veins that managed to hold on to it. I have never felt such pain in all my life and the fact I’m alive, all be it only just, makes me want to cry. I’ll kill that traitorous blood sucker if I ever lay eyes on him again. I was naïve to think he would turn me and a stupid fool to follow his plan. The whole time his intention must have been to fuck me over
