Chapter 28

Alex!!!. Megan immediately got out of the bed. She turned the bed lamp on and walked to the couch where Alex was, tapping him gently, Alex stirred up abruptly and hugged Megan tightly. I… I..killed…them. He murmured incoherently.

Megan didn't understand what he was saying, but she was taken aback by his action. She slowly raised her hands to his back, patting him gently.

“It's alright, you are alright” Megan said in a comforting tone and gradually Alex tensed muscles started to relax. They both remained like that for a few minutes until Alex fell asleep again. When Megan noticed he was asleep she laid him back on the couch and covered him properly.

The next morning, when Alex woke up, Megan wasn't in the room, he stood up with a frown on his gorgeous face, and he left the room, getting downstairs he was surprised to see Megan sitting on the dining table with a mug in her hands, she was clad in a bathroom robe with her gaze fixed intently to the television.
