There wasn't so much work to be done at the office but still Megan's presence was needed at the company.

What she did not expect was the magazine her assistant had just handed over to her. With a wave, she dismissed the assistant from the office as she took a second look at the picture of Elizabeth and Greg.

They looked so happy together, her gaze rested on Elizabeth as a sly smile appeared on her lips. She looked so radiant and beautiful.

Megan thought of Beth always managing to come out of every difficult situation she was in. She chuckled at the irony of her life as the memory of Elizabeth pinning the blame of her miscarriage on her despite knowing she wasn't pregnant.
