Despise

*present day*

Zane was sleeping when Natalie entered the room with two other guards.

As soon as she saw Zane sleeping, she put a finger to her lips and gestured the guards to leave.

They did and Natalie stared at a sleeping Zane as her eyes welled up with tears. She wanted to be quiet but she sobbed and Zane opened his eyes immediately. Zane sat up in his bed and they both stared at each other.

Natalie had grown in those past 5 years. She had cut her hair shoulder-length and she was wearing an elegant purple dress.

"Hi Zane",said Natalie wiping her tears and smiling at Zane.

"Hi Natasha", replied Zane without any emotion in his voice.

Natalie immediately froze and all she could say was,"Oh......so you know....."

"Yes"

"How much?"

"Everything", replied Zane looking at Natalie without despise in his face.

"Zane I'm so sorry I lied to you. Please forgive me, but you've been gone for five years! I- I need to know what happened to you. Where did you go? How--- how did you get so hurt
