chapter forty three - Third person

flashback to twenty one years ago

Nymeria came back home, very tired from the visit to the house of one of the women in the pack whose child had been sick.

This morning at dawn, she had woken up to the frantic knocks on the door of her house by Trinity, the woman.

She had reluctantly left her bed and the warmth of her husband, Beowulf who was still sleeping peacefully on their bed and fled outside to see what the disturbance was about.

As the Luna of the pack, one of her jobs was to take care of every member of the pack aside from helping her husband run the pack efficiently of course.

She had met Trinity crying profusely at the door, lamenting about the poor sick child, so she had gone back inside to tell Beowulf where she was going to and then she looked in on her three eldest children who were all sleeping peacefully in their respective rooms and then woke the nursemaid up to look after the baby, Akela.

She had then followed Trinity to her home.

She had found out that the child,
