While I was desperately trying to force my worn-out body to move I could hear their steps getting closer and closer to where I was *thump* thump* My heart was racing so fast that I could hear it beating... *huff* *huff* it's..been... How long exactly? I can't remember. Searching for my friends is starting to seem so hopeless now. "I just want to take a break!", I cried out My body drenched in sweat was aching all over from running around all over the resort. "Agh! It was finally the day we were all supposed to meet.So why am I up at 5 am?The thing is, I have been experiencing nightmares every day and I haven't been able to properly sleep for weeks. I can see fragments of my unsettling nightmares in real life sometimes. These nightmares have occurred since my childhood, which is odd but I haven't had this much trouble sleeping since I was a child. I have met many psychiatrists and had therapy for this issue alone. But it was useless and eventually, my concern for it faded over time since it did not affect my real life as much.Until now of course.This was the reason why I decided to agree to that trip. Her cloudy and white, expressionless eyes stared right at mine. I could neither scream nor run. All of my senses and reasoning went into chaos as I started to realize those eyes looked a little too familiar to a friend of mine, Faye. I unwillingly began to recall those memories I tried to bury deep inside. How could I ever forget that day? 6 years earlier "Faye! Get it together the customers will be here soon!" Screamed a lady while pouring herself a drink "Yes, mother" Faye muttered while cleaning the floor with an old and worn-out mop. Faye worked in her mom's old struggling cafe called the 'Dream Room' and proceeded with her studies along with it. Her mother owned the cafe but was usually never there. Skylar somehow came across this isolated run-down cafe when he was running in the small alleys trying to get away from the pouring rain.
