Lorraine's POV

I hesitated for a moment before I reluctantly hauled forward and fell into the Queen's arms. The cologne stemming from the queen is scented like a mixture of olive oil and garlic. She hugged me tightly. Tears coursed from my eyes.

This was all I have missed in my life. A warm hug that felt secure and felt like home. It was at this moment I agreed, the home wasn't a construction it was anywhere the mind uncovers peace.

The hug was nothing short of a motherly embrace. It was more than a random hug. There were emotions and feelings at the moment. Ellie coughed and Queen Elara and I disentangled from the hug.

Why did she have to do that? Ever since she came into my life she had only brought along with her surprises. I loathed that there was no guilt in her eyes, nor was there any in the way she spoke.

I even wondered if perhaps Ellie knew, even before the day I had met her for the first time that I was her niece.
