Chapter 25

I spent my next 11 years going to school. My only friends were Amara and Blake. I graduated at age 17, and decided I didn’t want to go to an all vampire college, which Anthony respected. I had a hard time in high school with grades 7-12^th. Amara protected me in grades 1-6, but we had different classes in high school. Carter High was on the 26^th floor. I didn’t bother making new friends. I was kind of a lone wolf. I didn’t get made fun of, but I did get asked a lot if a vampire could taste my blood because I smelled so good. Of course I denied everyone, and I guess because they weren’t little kids, they left me alone. 

I spent the next 5 years after school helping Anthony with his work, running errands for him, giving him his meals, or cleaning the house. I felt like a servant at times, but at the end of each week he would reward m
