Chapter 59: The Crude king

The next morning;

A small groan escaped my lips as I woke up. I covered her face with my hands because of the sunlight that pierced through the curtains. rubbing my eyes, I suddenly realized that my shared room has never been this bright. Snapping myself. out of my hazy state, I realised that she was indeed not in her shared room at the palace.

'Where I'm I?' I wondered. The bed I slept in was quite big, not as big as the one's at the palace though. I then remembered last night's events. All I could recollect was being in the carriage and eventually going to sleep. I looked around the room and my eyes fell on the King.

I had spent the night in the same room as the king! I was so shocked. They must have stopped for the night. But why did they sleep in the same room? I wasn't wearing my coat which left me with my blue ankle length dress and my shoes were at the side of the bed.
