Chapter 66: A Date with the Councilman

The next day;

"No moping around, no talks about every stunt you've pulled and try to inquire about him ok?" Said Mrs Parson to her daughter, as she adjusted her dress. Laura could only nod her head at the woman's requests. She was going to be meeting Councilman Duran today and she was nervous.

'What if he doesn't meet my expectations?.' Laura thought. The few minutes she spent with him yesterday weren't enough to judge him.

”And please act elegant…"

"Mother, that's enough. Even If I act in all of this manner it won't be the predictor of him liking me.”

”Of course it will! That should be every woman's attribute."
