Chapter 74: Introductions and Jealousy

Laura was seated in a carriage sent by Kilan. Since he was the one who invited her and she had no idea where the council's club was, he sent a carriage to pick her up.

Laura was a little bit excited, yet she was nervous. She was happy that she was going to spend the entire afternoon with him, but it was going to be at the council's club. A place where all of the council members will be. A place where every eye that laid on her would scrutinise her in one way or another.

'Was this dumb? She accepting to meet him at the club. They could have met anywhere else other than there, but of course she had to say yes.

”Wow, lady Laura." The rider announced. She nodded even when she knew that he wouldn't be able to see her. She peeped out of the window to see a very beautiful two storey mansion. Of course, it was just like her own club, only with a dash of elderly touch.
