Maya POV

It's been a week and Gideon has not come back to his room again. He takes time to accompany me for meals of course, there's a possibility he doesn't come to the table because of me.

Every morning after training, Samantha and I head to the dining table and later Leo and Gideon join us.

Samantha and Leo have been trying their best to strike a conversation but Gideon rarely says anything. If asked a question, he would either hum or simply nod.

I have been having a hard time controlling my tears in front of him.

Ever since I pushed him away when he was about to mark me, he started avoiding me. The person who had warmed my rather cold heart at the end of the day kept his distance from me.

At the end of it all,I confirmed that I was unlovable. What hurt the most was the fact that he never for once thought of informing me why he was avoiding me all of a sudden.

A punch landed on my face making me land on the ground with a thud.
