ESCAPE FROM THE DUNGEON

WRITER'S POV

It has been a few minutes since Lily was dragged back into the dungeon after they tortured her.

Good thing she wasn't chained or tied like before but instead they left her to die on the cold floor.

She stayed apart from the silver chains as she thought of her exit plan. She already made up her mind to escape from the prison and flee from there entirely.

"Where then can I go?"Lily asked herself but couldn't answer as she realised she had nowhere to go. Then she wondered if because she had nowhere to go should make her die in the hands of her Alpha mate that rejected her.

She hadn't had anything to eat since they brought her in and the worms in her stomach has been growling and eating her intestines.

Suddenly the dungeon room opened to let in one of Alpha Liam's men who pushed a plate towards Lily and stepped out again.

Dried bread with a half cup of water.

Lily scoffed seeing what they brought to her. She wondered if this is supposed to stop at her throat or stomach.

She managed to drag her weak body up and in a flash gobbled down the bread and gulped down the water.

She belched loudly but felt her wolf unsatisfied.

The food didn't reach her anywhere and now she feels hungry again, tasty too.

Lily looked around the dungeon room and wondered where she could escape from but it was obvious there was no way she could do that as the room had no window and only one door which the guards had keys to and also must be mounting right in front of the iron gate. Lily knew that she would be taking a huge risk if she decides to break the iron door. She might be able to do it but she would get hurt if not dead by the time she is done.

But remaining there isn't a good option either.

She finally came up with an idea.

"Hey! I want to speak with the Alpha!" Lily yelled at the top of her voice hoping the guards would hear her.

After a few seconds, nothing happened and no one came to ask her why she was yelling.

She tried again.

"Hey! Can you hear me out for once!"

The iron door creaked open, one of the guards popped in his head and threw a snarl look at me thinking I would flinch but I didn't.

"Huh?" His bass voice asked.

"Let me talk to Liam," Lily said boldly.

He was mute as his eyes were fixed on her, his cold face tried to penetrate me but I stood my ground and was fearless.

He didn't say anything to Lily and started to go out.

"Hey! Didn't you hear me! I said I want to speak to Liam now!"

"Hey!"

No matter how much Lily screamed, he didn't as much as glance back at her as he locked the door on me.

Lily wasn't about to back down and so she went to the iron door and started to bang hard on it, screaming and yelling at the same time even though her hand hurts so much.

She was determined to run away from that pack and nothing was going to stop her now.

She was still hitting hard on the door when the door went open with a force pushing her to the ground.

Liam stood right before her, his height towered above her causing Lily to flinch back. She just couldn't tell why she was always cowering in fear before him.

Liam moved even closer to her where she sat on the floor due to the push she had from the door.

Lily noticed something, his face wasn't as hard as it was earlier on, although it was still a little bit scary but she admitted there was a change.

"I..I want…" She stuttered suddenly, forgetting all that she had planned to say to him.

Liam just stood at that spot without saying a word to her but maintained a fixed gaze at her.

"I..want..can…" Lily tried again but failed to make a point. Liam looked at her in a disgusted manner before he turned and walked away from the dungeon room.

As soon as Liam walked out, Lily felt her tongue came alive again. She cursed at herself for being foolish at a crucial time. She could feel her fingers changing into claws as she dug them into the hard floor angrily hurting herself in the process.

She was so mad at herself for not being able to do anything when Liam came in.

She went to the door again and started banging on it. She was losing her strength but she still wouldn't stop until she left this place and this pack.

The next moment, she heard heavy footsteps approach the dungeon room and stepped back.

The door went open with a forceful push and then two guards charged at her and started to drag her to Liam.

She didn't resist but allowed them to drag her, her plan lurking in her head.

Alpha Liam was sitting on his high chair but his face was turned to the other side.

The guards pushed Lily to the ground with force.

"You guys be easy on me, I am still your future Luna…!" Lily said, breathing hard.

Liam turned to face her the moment he heard her words. He glared at her but Lily acted un bothered.

"I can never love and protect a killer!" Liam said with clenched teeth.

Lily forced a sad smile but swallowed her words.

"What do you want to see me for?" He asked, standing up and marching towards Lily menacingly.

This time Lily didn't flinch nor run backwards. She positioned her mind to transform. She could feel her claws and paws finding their position in her body.

"Yaaaaaak!" She growled finally transforming fully into a werewolf.

She didn't wait to see Liam's reaction as she jumped on him and scratched him before running off.

The guards tried to run after her but Liam stopped them. He was indifferent about Lily and her foolish escape since Helen was now up and alive. Lily could disappear for all he cares.
