DAYS LATER

Lily had taken some of the guards to pay a visit to her mother's grave. She heard of Mara and Maggie's death. She felt not a single pity for them. They have not only her mother's blood in their hands but their blood as well. She sighed and straightened from the grave. Gently she lowered the flowers she had brought and said some prayers. The moon goddess would protect the soul of her mother. 

"Ahem!" 

A voice boomed behind her. She turned to see her father standing inches from her. Equally with some flowers. 

He came nearer looking sober. "You think she will ever forgive me for hurting you?" He asked, blinking back tears. 

Lily was mute for a while. "She already did. " She finally said after a short while breathing in a chunk of air.
