WRITER'S POV
"Father..." Lily muttered as she looked towards the becrazed man who had turned out to be her father and was on the verge of slitting his throat if she didn't show up. For a moment back there she had had her heart sink into the pit of her stomach imagining it to be Danny.
"Lily...my daughter..." her father's voice came on once he caught sight of Lily. He let the sharp knife fall to the ground and dashed towards her. He fell to his knees at her feet and sobbed. "Forgive a selfish father... please my daughter...show mercy to a thoughtless father... I am deeply sorry my daughter..."
Lily stared down at him, unsure of what to say as her throat seemed to have dried up and her tongue tied up. It was just like the day before he cursed and forsake her, forgetting she was his daughter. How could he come to her to seek forgiveness like it was the easiest thing on earth.
